The interior is full of ornate cedar carvings, intricate mosaics and giant doors made of titanium, along with various coloured marbles from all over the country. There's even a huge sliding roof made of carved cedar that opens a la Rod Laver Arena in just three minutes despite weighing a few tonnes.
It stands on a promontory looking out to the Atlantic Ocean. A total of 105,000 worshippers can gather for prayer at the mosque simultaneously, 25,000 inside the mosque and another 80,000 on the mosque's ground outside.
