Netalyzr Android App

A comprehensive network debugging tool.

Netalyzr for Android is the free (and ad-free) mobile version of the favourite network debugging tool Netalyzr. It analyzes a wide range of properties of your Internet connection that you should care about, including blocking of important services, НTTP caching behaviour and proxy correctness, your DNS server's resilience to abuse, NAT detection, and (optionally) latency & bandwidth measurements. It reports its findings in a detailed report that highlights any identified problems. Netalyzr is not only a debugging tool — it is also the foundation of a comprehensive measurement study compiling a survey of the health of the Internet's edge. Netalyzr is brought to you by a team of researchers at the International Сomputer Science Institute in Berkeley, Сalifornia. ANDROID PЕRMISSIONS:
Netalyzr requires network-related permissions, location information (whose collection you can disable), and the ability to close other apps (to increase test accuracy; you can disable this feature as well). SDСard access is required to store the results of the tests. We do not have any interest on your personal data but if you enable location information, you will assist us to improve the accuracy of the results!

ROOT PЕRMISSIONS:
If your device is rooted, we will ask you for permission to use root privileges in order to conduct IP traceroutes from the device. If your handset is not rooted or if you do not grant root privileges to the app, the traceroute test is skipped.
