JBit Java App

JBit is a Virtual Machine, an Assembler, a Monitor. With JBit you can learn the basics of programming on your mobile phone. With JBit you can remember the old days and try to write yet another pointless Snake clone while you are commuting to work. With JBit you can program a little game in Assembly 6502, package it into a MIDlet and deliver it to any mobile phone without ever touching a single Java tool.

JBit is scalable from the oldest MIDP1 phone to the latest gizmo. Its runtime is currently about 20K (expected to grow to something like 20-25K) and targets phones like the Nokia 6310i (30K jar limit). Its core development environment is currently about 50K (expected to grow to something like 55-60K) and targets phones like the Nokia 3510i (64K jar limit).
